This is our Clubs signature project. The ewaste drive was organised in association with Chirag Developers and supported by Swach Pune Seva Sahakari Sanstha Ltd is a collective of self employed wastepickers that provides waste collection and management services. It is authorised by The Pune Municipal Corporation. Rtn Kiran Savargaonkar was convenor of this project. Rtn Sunil Baraskar and his project team on site displayed banners showing ewaste collection camp and awareness on ehazards at various prominent locations 2 days in advance so as to make aware about program. Program pamphlets were distributed in nearby societies and residential complex. Collection camp was kept at 3 locations. RCP Sahawas members also brought their ewaste. A good response was shown by the residence. Society members also voluntary participated in camp. Swach team was also participated. A good volume ewaste was collected on that day and it was taken to Swach collection yard at Kothrud depot.
