Grandeview7 is a Residential project being developed by Chirag Developers. This project is joint venture of The Scapers, G Mittal & Sons and Trimurti Group. Our Club Secretary Rtn. Sunil Baraskar is working as Project Head in the firm. Project is spread over on 40 acres of land. Its on Katraj bypass highway. More than 500 customers have already been occupied. New construction is in progress. Rtn. Sunil Baraskar shared that around 4 lacs sqft construction is in progress and around 500 labours are staying at labour camp which is inside the premises. Developer has provided basic needs in terms of proper hutments, toilets, water and electricity and the same is being maintained properly. Pest control for the hutments as well as surrounding area is being done on regular basis. Eco friendly Packaged STP is installed and treated water is used for landscape/gardening. Baby crèche & school facility has been provided near to labour camp. To give better facility to children, the school is being operated through well known NGO Satkarma Foundation. Regular health check-up of labours as well as their children is being done. Free medicine is provided to needy labours. Rtn. Sunil Baraskar expressed the opportunity to carry out various Social activities which labours will get direct benefit. Accordingly Club BoD visited the site and decided to carry out "Labours Health check-up" Program immediately. It was decided to carry Health Check-up project on 6th march, 2016 at 10.00am. Rtn. Sunil Baraskar and his project team on site displayed banners about Health check-up program at various prominent locations 2 days in advance so as to make aware about program. Check-up arrangement was made in newly built Club House. Meeting was started at 10.30am by National Anthem. Shri. Vinodji Mittal was the Chief Guest. RCP Sahawas President Rtn. Dr. Sunil Patil briefed about Rotary and their contribution to the society. Also showed interest to associate with the developer for social contribution. Rtn. Sunil Baraskar gave short introduction of the Developer as well as Shri. Vinod Mittal. RCP Sahawas Past President & Charter member Rtn. Shekhar Takalkar felicitated Chief Guest Shri Vinodji Mittal and awarded with Manpatra. RCP Sahawas Service Director Rtn. Dinkar Palaskar briefed about the aim of this program and requested the Program Convenors to give short brief on the program. Rtn. Arvind Ruikar briefed about Health check-up program and gave introduction of Doctors who were supporting the program. Doctors were felicities by the President Rtn. Dr. Sunil Patil. Also from District office Rtn. Asmita Indulkar attended program. The program was started then after. Labours were called in queue. Club Anns 1st prepared their health card and they were examined by various doctors. The check-up was about General health, then dental and eye check-up. Around 225 labours were examined. Health card given to them clearly mentioning about further course of action and advise. Club decided to give spectacles to those having numbers free of charge. Biscuits were given to all labours by our club. Special thanks to Rtn. Hrishikesh Bhide for making eye checking equipment available. Appreciation certificates were awarded to Doctors and members for their support.
