The "District Interact /EarlyAct Conference 2012-13" as hosted by RCP ShivajiNagar & RCP Sahawas jointly, was a grand success! Rtn. Vinod Deshpande (Director-New Generation) was co-convener for the event. The conference received overwhelming participation response from most the different cities/ towns of RI Dist 3131 including Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Khopoli, Panvel & Pen, etc., with the student registration (Interact + EarlyAct) crossing 415 mark! This was specifically appreciated by our DG Dr. Girish Gune in his opening speech! The conference included an enlightening speech by Dr. Anil Avachat guiding the students to show them way of life in future. Our club President Rtn. Dattatray Kulkarni subsequently summarized the highlights of Dr. Avachat's speech for better understanding of the underlying message. The active participation & valuable contribution by the Rotarians / Anns & Annas of our club was also highly significant. As a co-host, we participated in a number of co-ordination meetings at Hotel Manali & also at RCP Shivajinagar. Further, we shared major responsibilities with RCP ShivajiNagar and delivered in all those assigned areas of responsibilities right from Registration, Banners display, Trophies, Stage Arrangement, Auditorium management, Catering logistics, etc. with all our sincere efforts and excellent teamwork. From our club, Rtn. Govindrao Hardikar was empanelled as Essay competition judge & Ann Sangita Pandit as judge for the Talent Show.
