Ganesh Idol Making workshop was organised for our Interact School children. The Ganesh Idol were made by Shadu (Shadu is a kind of clay found in the river bank). Mr. Abhijeet Ghorpade guided all the children. Around 150 students participated in the workshop. This was an attempt to make the awareness amoung the children to stay away from POP Ganesh IDOl. This will not create any pollution. Shadu is a kind of clay found in the river bank, mostly in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Konkan region. A traditional medium of making Ganesh idols. Shadu idols are worshiped in Maharashtra since century. Since it is entirely made of natural clay shadu does not create any pollution hazard
