The project was taken up to protect the western Ghats from plastic bottles scrap & to improve awareness in the people travelling thr Tamhini regarding the damage to environment due to accumulation of scraped plastic bottles. The Board making the appeal of “Environment Protection “was erected in the Ghat . Also the club members collected the scrapped bottles in the nearby area & were send to dispose off in a special tempo. The tourists travelling thr the Ghat also participated in this event enthusiastically. The Sarpanch of the nearby village appreciated the efforts of the club members.
