| Minutes of Meeting | Rotary Club of Pune Sahawas BOD Meeting for the month of December 2022 Minutes of meeting dated January 8, 2023 Present: Pres. Ajay Mutatkar, IPP Mahindra Chitte, Sec. Rahul Lale, Rtn Nandakumar Ghule, Rtn. Prakash Avachat, Rtn. Sudhir Vaidya, Rtn. Kiran Ingale, Rtn Nivedita Muley, Rtn Pratibha Jagdale, Rtn Dinkar Palaskar. Points discussed; Points agreed are as under: 1. President Shared that we all have to gear up for the Avishkar musical program planned on 13th evening. WE have received donation of Rs 3 Lakhs so far and shared the major donor list. He shared that 350 visitors had already confirmed and we expect total of 500. 2. We plan to felicitate major donors during the program. Also looking for a sponsor for a cloth bag (okay with sponsor name) to keep water bag and snacks. 3. Hirkani Budget was revisited. Currently we are gifting a Mug and Dust Bin (part of Environment Project initiative). The board members agreed to keep only Mug as gift for the members birthday. Board approved expenditure of 8,400 for the first six months. Total expenditure is expected to be Rs 50,800 for the year. Ways to increase budget were discussed. It was agreed that this Hirkani work was commendable as during the visit, lot of idea exchange, Rotary Projects/ initiatives were also shared. I was agreed that this work will continue. 4. Board approved the use of Sunshine Box saving for the Hirkani Project. 5. Board approved induction of two new members in Rotary Sahawas Club. Rtn Saptarshi and Rtn Swati Kothadia. It was agreed that when we take new members, we shold obtain NOC if they were members of any other Rotary Club. 6. Budget Asmita – Visit is planned on 17/1/2023. The expenses include travel, food, gift, medical support. Plan was to undertake visit to 4 schools. The Board approved Rs 25,000 for Asmita Project. Board approved for taking Mummy Vehicle for the Asmita visit. Board also approved Rs 10,000 for sanitary napkins. 7. President shared that Sahawas Carnival was planned on February 25, 2023. Punyai Hall would be the venue. 8. The Board approved Rs 8,500 for the visit of 8 students to the Space Centre Hinjewadi. 9. For the DG elections, it was shared that Rtn Santosh Marathe, Rtn Pankaj Patel, RTn Pallavi Sable would be the candidates. Board members requested to have their profile for the review. 10. The board approved Rs 10,000 for 120 Educational Boards for 5 schools. 11. Rtn Prakash Avachat shared the Swarangan program to be held at District Level. 12. Follow up for the pending membership fee was also discussed during the meeting. |
