Meeting Agenda Month progress review, support to Flood affected, initiatives with the schools, Mummy Project. To summarize the month of July, we started on a very good note, right from the day one. With the help of all the members we celebrated Dr's Day, CA's Day, Environment Day. Very next day with the help of IPP Kiran Ingale and Rtn.Santosh Joshi we were able to bring our MUMMY from Bombay. All the five Friday's programme on variety of subjects were very carefully chosen by the Club Admin Rtn.Nivedita and her team. Rtn.Prakash Avachat started his work on the Happy School right away and he collected more tham 200 books which were donated to Dyanada Prashala Kirkitwadi. His this gesture culminated in germinating the idea of creating a Library for the school. Visit was organised with the interior designer to the school to take the measurements of the room and ascertain what can be done. The work is in progress. Secretary Ghule organised a visit to Aajol run by Joshi's. Their need for bunker beds for students was identified. Myself and Ghule are working on their request for beds with mattress for which we visited JunaBazar if we can get some good options over there. We are also working on the new ones' affordability. Quotations are being procured. There was a request from Ajinkya Dedge School for notebooks for students. I am very happy to mention that the Happy School Director's friend donated Rs 5000 for this and another Rs 2000 were given by secretary and President. First Lady circulated this message amongst her dealer network and she is getting a positive response from them. Some are giving the notebooks and some have shown the willingness to contribute by cheque. That's a good contribution by the First Lady. We also donated a pin-up board to the Ajinkya Dedge School for the students' use, new President/Secretary Interact Installation was done and the students of tenth class scoring higher marks were felicitated. Director Service - medical, is working n holding a BLOOD donation Drive on 15th of August. Shailesh sabhagrah is booked for the purpose and we are doing this to help our Rotaractor team to conduct this Blood Donation Drive. MUMMY is rested for a while because of flood and heavy rain situation. However planning, making interior design, external make-up etc. hasn't stopped. IPP Kiran Ingale is on the job of transferring the vehicle in our club's name. The request for CSR funds for running the project is being pursued by GG and CSR Director Dinkar rigorously and he is on this mission. Hope he gets a success and we are able to get CSR funds to run this programme. Director Service - Non Medical, PN Sandesh Kothadia is also on mission of Flood Disaster Management Drive. He collected Rs. 10,000. Ann Swati Kothadiya along with her team is on a collection drive of blankets and Chaddars for flood affected areas. Very happy to mention that so far we have been able to make a set of 42 nos. Consisting of 1 blanket + 2 Chaddars, duly packed in plastic bags. After labeling with club's name and logo, they will be delivered to DGN Manjoo Phadke for further action. On the whole I am happy the way our members are performing, helping and coming forward to make things happen . "Cheer-up , gear-up , Double-up !!!!" "Let's serve to change lives of people"
